Abstract :
The design and performance of a single rectifying antenna (rectenna) are presented as well a scalable array implementation. The presented rectenna design achieves optimum power conversion at incident power densities below established safety regulations, an axial ratio of less than 0.3 dB, and an optimal conversion efficiency of 82%.
