Abstract :
Strip flatness and thickness are two very important quality control indicators in the steel strip hot rolling process. According to the strong coupling relation between strip flatness and thickness and parameters changing in the process of production, a system combined the particle swarm optimization (PSO), model reference adaptive control and decoupling control is designed. The system adjusts decoupling and controller parameters online by the online optimization ability of PSO. The results of simulation show that this method is effective on decoupling, and reduce the influence of the change of parameters effectively. The system has good robustness and improve the quality of the strip.
