Abstract
The performance of a hybrid direct sequence (DS)/slow frequency hopping (FH) CDMA system is investigated for measured Codit COST 207 channel model with randomly generated phases. Performance evaluation in terms of bit error rate, capacity and spectral efficiency is given for the uplink as well as for the downlink. Finally, maximum ratio combining is introduced, to improve the system performance
