Abstract :
This paper presents a system that creates load modules for switching software and constructs an environment for using them to test software. This system achieves quick, accurate, and flexible load creation of large-scale, multi-product, object-oriented software, and enables testers to use it quickly and easily. The features of this system are distributed load creation through a local area network, parallel compilation using dozens of workstations, and a toolbox approach which hides elemental tools such as compilers. We show that this system enables production of layered multi-product loads, enhances source code reuse, and reduces the load supplying cycle time
