Abstract
Detection of abnormal patterns in twenty-four hour Holter tapes is difficult because of the large number of data points. A method is described for plotting these points so that variability differences can be detected. In addition to the graphical method, a rapid means of quantifying these results is presented. This measurement is also relevant to determination of stability or chaos in these systems
