Abstract
In this work an experimental investigation is carried out to evaluate the performance of two different thermal greases on the temperature behavior of a transmitter used in the payload of two different Brazilian sounding rockets. Initially, a theoretical estimation and analysis of the transmitter temperature was performed. Following, experimental temperature measurements were taken. The results indicate that the second grease shows to be more efficient even if in more severe aerodynamic heating conditions.
