Abstract :
This paper presents direct traceable methods, proportional tree methods, to allocate and price the transmission usages among the users. The techniques are based on ac power flow solutions and proportional sharing principle. The price that a customer (or a transaction) has to pay is directly related to its actual use of transmission network. Proportional trees utilized in this technique clearly show routes of power flows from sources to customers. An example system is used to illustrate the techniques
