Abstract :
When you have to choose what type of modulation is selected for an optical system, you must also decide the type of receptor to use and the cost benefit of its use. This paper presents the evaluation of two formats (BPSK and DPSK) with coherent detector and coherent differential detector for each format respectively, in order to determine which of the two types of receptor and modulation has better performance in PON access networks has 10Gbps.
