Abstract :
This paper describes recent progress on the investigation of scandate cathodes at BVERI. The key factors related to the cathode emission performance will be discussed. The application results of scandate cathodes in linear inductance accelerator (LIA), sheat beam TWTs (SBTWTs), electric thrusters and coaxial magnetrons will be presented.
