Abstract :
Summary form only given. Polymeric nonlinear optical materials have been subject to intense research activity because of simple device manufacturing. Photorefractive polymer (PRP) materials may find use in applications such as holographic data storage. For holographic data storage in PRPs, interfering laser beams produce a patterned space charge field via charge generation, drift and trapping.
