  • Abstract
    An innovative method to make an automatic 2-Port T/R Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) using common RF equipments is described. RF signal generator and 3-Channel digital oscilloscope are used as transmitter and receiver respectively. Both equipments are operated via USB interface by a controlling program. 2-Port device´s Scattering parameters are measured with a reflectometer and mathematically corrected using complex-value algorithms which include all systematic system errors. These errors are calculated previously during VNA´s calibration with “Enhanced-Response” correction method.
