Abstract :
We use Particle swarm optimization for vertical magnetic dipole transient electromagnetic method 1 dimension inversion. For demonstrating the PSO flexibility, we started models by allowing the model parameters to vary in large ranges. The ranges were far away from the true values. 1 dimension inversion started from 10 different initial models and had 300 iterations. Numerical calculation model was a two-layer geoelectric model. The results show that all runs converge to the true parameters. The efficiency of PSO for TEM inversion is high.
