Abstract

The benefits brought by information sharing in construction supply chain (ISCSC) can be manifested in many aspects. The calculation of added-value generated from information sharing is complicated and difficult, and this paper proposes to measure the above-mentioned benefits from three aspects: construction period, cost and quality. By establishing mathematical equations of added-value in terms of construction period, cost, quality and the cost of information sharing, we set up a model of comprehensive benefits of ISCSC after eliminating the influence of dimension. We also conduct simple application on the model by analyzing the actual case.
