Abstract :
Clock recovery techniques at 1.25 Gbit/s enable quantum key distribution at sifted-key rates greater than 3.5 Mbit/s. Our system incorporates expeditious forward error correction algorithms, and is designed for practical implementation of the one-time-pad cipher.
