Abstract :
In order to reduce mis-warning rate, leak-warning rate and increase intelligent grade of automatic fire alarm system, in this paper, a novel system for building fire alarm based on BP neural network algorithm, which is developed by LabVIEW virtual instrument, is presented. In the LabVIEW virtual instrument system of fire detection, first, the multiple fire parameters were obtained from different detectors, then normalized and entered into the system and calculated by BP algorithm, finally the results of parameters processing were applied in the fire alarm. The experiment results show that this method can recognize fire signals and reduce the mis-warning and leak-warning rate. The fire alarm system can predict the fire timely and has stronger anti-jamming ability, so it will play an important role in building safety system.
