Abstract :
CDMA is known to provide a higher multiple access capacity for indoor and portable communication in a bit synchronous environment. A new synchronous BPSK modulated direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS/CDMA) scheme based on interference cancellation is introduced. We present two schemes to cancel the multiple access interference by using pseudorandom sequences with different time offsets. The cancellation methods are accomplished by adding a reference correlator receiver to the conventional receiver. We analyze the interference resulting from the other users and obtain the average bit error probability in AWGN environments
