Abstract
Our social setup believes in dealing with every community equally. This research work is conducted to offer a social responsibility to improve usability of android applications (apps) for deaf and dumb so that they can enjoy ordinary experience of communication through their android devices. One of such applications is “Speak_it”. “Speak_it” is an android app that helps a deaf and dumb user to communicate with normal people around him. It converts the typed text into voice message. Usability is evaluated through Heuristics Evaluation and suggestions are provided to overcome the loopholes.
