Abstract :
Proportional integral differential (PID) controller is composition of the HVDC transmission system´s control part. This paper focuses on the optimal method of the selection of PI parameters which satisfy the stability of the system through using Hurwitz criterion and Bode stability criterion, calculates out the parameters´ reasonable range in CIGRE HVDC Benchmark Model. Based on PSCAD/EMTDC, the calculating method as well as the parameters´ reasonable scope are verified.
