Abstract :
A practical online power system transient stability program using a modified potential energy boundary surface (PEBS) method considering saliency, load models, HVDC models, resistors and emergency trip of generators and remote shedding of load is introduced. This program will be implemented on the Central China Power System. Simulation results of a 10 machine, 39 node IEEE test system and a 64 machine, 433 node system is included
