Abstract
In electric power systems, the normal operations are performed according to a predetermined switching sequence. So far, dispatchers in the power system control center manually make up switching sequences. Knowledge based approaches have been proposed and implemented in practical systems. However these approaches tend to be expensive in real implementation. In this paper, the authors propose an economical knowledge based system for supporting the power system operation procedure which can be implemented on two personal computers
