Abstract
A reconfigurable audio amplifier is proposed. It can be configured to operate as standard dual-bridge, as high-efficiency dual-bridge, or as high-power mono-bridge amplifier. The built-in diagnostic with an I/sup 2/C-bus interface completes the above features. The device delivers to 1/spl Omega/ up to 150W in high-power mode and saves 50% of the dissipated power in high-efficiency configuration.
