Abstract :
The flowing problem of the fluid with free surface has a great deal of existence in the engineering, such as ocean engineering, petrochemical engineering, hydraulic engineering and mechanical engineering, etc. therefore, People have carried out deep study on such issues. In this paper a simple new method of boundary treatment that simulates the free surface flow by smooth particle hydrodynamics (SPH) has been proposed, which layouts several layers of virtual particles to satisfy the density of boundary, and judges whether the inside particles have penetrated into the boundary and go on dealing with explicit project-and-reflect. Through the above research going on simulating dam breaking and crest overflowed of overflow dam, the result accord with the real condition. The result shows that the SPH method has a good function to solve the two problems, and the boundary treatment method mentioned can ensure the stability of the boundary pressure.
