Abstract :
In high-frequency discharges of a capacity type (HFE), more often the HF voltage is applied to plane-parallel electrodes. The electrodes can adjoin to discharge and can be isolated from it by a solid dielectric. In this sense we shall name conditionally. HFE discharges as electrode or electrodeless. In stationary HF discharges all investigations will usually be carried out on the most used frequency For us pulse discharges, having much total features with stationary HFE discharges, is represented the greatest interest. Therefore basic regularity proper to HFE discharges are easier to analyze at first in a stationary case. At first we shall not make accent only on high-pressure discharges, and consider discharges of average pressure for laser technique.
