Abstract
A benchmark has been carried out for demonstrating the computational issue when the numerical tools are applied on the electrically large scattering problems. FDTD-based programs and high-frequency technique GTD are tested with regard to the time consumption. A parallel-FDTD is evaluated too in terms of scalability to check the performance vs. used CPU numbers. Measurement of radiation pattern is provided as the benchmark base.
