Abstract
Paper presents results of the didactic analysis of acid-base titration simulators which are available on the web and their application in innovative approaches to chemistry instruction supported by the information and communication technologies. The analysis focuses on the quality of single simulators and their application in pre-graduate teachers´ training. Resulting from the analysis the applications can be categorized on three levels: simulators, generators and presentations. Each category has specific features which can be included in teaching practice and teachers´ training but in no case they should be understood as equal compensation of the real experiment. The list of analysed simulators is available online on a new web portal called Acid-base titrations which is being designed on http://titrace.wz.cz.
