Abstract :
In this paper, we present a mobile collaboration environment based on the distributed object group framework (DOGF) for supporting mobile devices. Our design and implementation of a healthcare application service on the top of DOGF is presented. Our mobile collaboration framework called Compact Distributed Object Group Framework(CDOGF) is based on DOGF. We designed various interfaces in DOGF for interactions between our framework and three entities: sensors, mobile devices and a home server. Mobile devices(e.g. PDAs) are classified into two types: stationary-type and moving-type mobile devices. The information collected by sensors attached to arbitrary spaces can be shared by any mobile device or home server and exchanged between participating devices using the Push and Pull methods. To manage the information exchanges, DOGF provides functions such as object group management, information storage and security services to CDOGF via defined application interfaces. The information is arranged according to the user´s security demands. Consequently, user profile information is used to verify the authority of each service object. The components for executing service functions of mobile devices and the home server are implemented using TMO scheme. TMOSM handles the interactions between distributed components. Finally, we show the successful execution of our healthcare application on our CDOGF using GUI screen capture according to various contexts: time, location, roles and etc.
