Abstract :
Heave compensation is an important technology on the ocean engineering, via the sensors detecting all sorts of motion data to get the status of crane real-time and the control system computing and commanding the executing cylinder to heave compensation, make the lifting load stable despite the crane is swing, pitching and heaving. This paper mainly focuses on the technology of heave compensation, to analysis the compensation principle and basic design applying on the floating crane, provide a solution for floating crane working in deep sea.
