Abstract :
We show that periodic-group-delay dispersion compensators can significantly suppress inter-channel nonlinearities in a WDM coherent polarization-division-multiplexed quardrature-phase-shift-keying system and make systems with dispersion management have higher nonlinear tolerance than those with only electronic dispersion compensation.
