Abstract :
The Regional Government of Murcia promoted the creation of the INTEGRA Foundation to contribute to the modernization of the region through the integration of resources and the deployment of new information and communication technologies, in order to accelerate the implementation of the information society in this autonomous region of Spain. The deployment of a telecommunications infrastructure and the definition of a management model to facilitate the interconnection of institutional telecommunication networks in the geographical scope of the autonomous community is discussed.
