Traffic Crash Characteristic Analysis on Mountain Roads

Mountain roads sections are recognized to be crash black-spots due to their complicated road geometric and geological conditions. Traffic crash on these road sections are severe and with great difficulties to be rescued. The paper mainly conducted the in-depth crash characteristic analysis based on typical mountain road traffic accidents in China. The research is of great importance to improve traffic safety on road traffic safety on mountain roads.
