Abstract :
Summary form only given. Transport properties of charge carriers in oriented conducting polymers still remain the subject of great interest. In this paper a computer simulation of photogeneration and recombination of charge carriers is performed on 2D lattice with taking into account the influence of external electric field and the presence of deffects in polymeric chains. The decay kinetics, temperature and mean conjugation length dependences of conductivity have been studied. We will discuss our results in comparison with different early proposed mechanisms of conductivity in oriented conductive polymers.
