Abstract
Various aspects of the existing undergraduate microelectronics program at Santa Clara University are discussed. The program is organized around the Microelectronics Laboratory facility where the students acquire basic clean-room skills and fabricate and characterize basic devices as they study them. A new course in microelectronic materials is being developed in collaboration with local industry where the students will perform experiments and become exposed to the current technology in electronic materials processing and manufacturing
