Abstract :
A magnetic suspension system model was built based on electromagnetic dynamics and voltage balance of the electromagnetic coil. Because the structural parameters of magnetic suspension system will change at some time, so that the traditional control methods of PID can not satisfied the stability requirements of system. A simple adaptive control method is introduced with its algorithm. The system was simulated, and the final result shows that the control method is feasible and effective.
