Abstract :
We have developed a Web based system for patients to send their ECG data to a Web server. The portable recorder is a microcontroller based system, which can record a few hours of ECG waveform. The device can connect to the Internet by hooking up with any normal modem. An ECG analysis software residing on the server performs the basic analysis, the results and raw data are then routed to doctors for further analysis and verification. The final diagnosis conclusion is posted on the Website for the patients to retrieve through a secure login. If there is any urgent situation, the patients will be alerted by SMS to their mobile phone.
