Abstract :
A proposal for a new motor controller that utilizes batteries in groups instead of the total in series. By creating a step-sine voltage waveform it may be possible to reduce the waste heat in the controller and provide more power to the load. This could provide a useful method of turning DC from a battery into AC for motors in electric vehicle applications
