Abstract :
Various types of emergency events occur frequently at present. Multiple transportation modes are used to rapidly and efficiently deliver relief goods to emergency location according to the severity of disaster. Emergency relief goods multi-mode transportation model is designed. Multiple transportation modes are considered and its aim is weighted time shortest, that is actual transport time multiplies ratio of each mode´s transport quantity to total demand quantity. Then genetic algorithm is used to solve the model, natural number coding is used when encoding and penalty function is designed according to constraint conditions. Finally, an example is presented to demonstrate the feasibility of this model and the superiority of transportation strategies based on genetic algorithm.
