Abstract
One of the high order modes which are used at the LEO satellite ground stations is TE21. This mode has symmetrical radiation pattern with low side lobe levels. In this paper the monopulse tracking technique using TE21 mode is analyzed. The key parameters of this technique including the linearity and slope of the error signal are calculated. Finally, by using of these parameters, estimation error such as mean, variance and consequent root mean square error (RMSE) of TE21 mode tracking technique versus SNR are presented.
