Abstract :
In this paper, a new design of a stacked rectangular resonator for millimeter underground communication is proposed. A coplanar waveguide is used as a feeding scheme. A CPW feed is better than the microstrip one because it has low radiation loss at millimeter-wave bands, less dispersion, and the ease of combining active device to form an active array. Numerical results, including return loss, radiation pattern, gain and radiation efficiency are discussed.
