Abstract
Molodtsov´s soft set theory was originally proposed as a general mathematical approach for dealing with vagueness and uncertainty.Research on (fuzzy) soft set based decision making has received much attention in recent years. This paper aims to initiate the concept of level soft sets based on OWA operators. Concretely,Yager´s OWA operators are used to aggregate membership values and derive corresponding level soft sets from a specified parameter called the attitudinal character, which is given by the decision maker.In addition,we investigate the application of the newly defined level soft sets to fuzzy decision making problems, supported by an illustrative example.
