Abstract :
A speech circuit is described which contains a line fed loudspeaker amplifier, an accurate line loss compensation and a line length dependent sidetone network. The maximum power dissipation of the integrated circuit is less than 300 mW at 100 mA line current. The total harmonic distortion is less than 1% for -10 dBm send and receive level.
