Abstract :
A nonlocal homogenization model is proposed for the analysis of absorbing properties of mushroom-type structures with graphene patches at microwaves. It is shown that a previously used ABC at the connection of metallic vias to metallic patches is no longer applicable in the case of graphene patches, and a new ABC is derived, which takes into account semi-metal properties of graphene.
