Abstract
The authors have proposed estimation algorithm of rain rate using measured rain attenuations. The estimation algorithm for the clear-weather level is presented. The rain attenuation is calculated using the estimated clear-weather level. The rain attenuation can be estimated using the rain attenuation. The proposed estimation algorithm is demonstrated using data obtained by the Tokyo Tech millimeter-wave model network. The validity of the proposed method has been proved.
