Abstract :
In this paper, some novel schemes are proposed to reduce power consumption of sensor nodes in on-line query processing of WSN (wireless sensor network). In WSNs, every datum in sensor nodes may contain some degrees of error caused hardware. Due to these reason, our query processing considers error in each node to compress data to reduce power consumption of data transit. Different from previous lossy or lossless approaches, our method can compress data and keeps the data distortion in a certain degree at the same time.
