Abstract :
ANF (Adaptive Notch Filer) has been shown to be very efficient for real-time singletone detection. There are still works worthy of studying to further improve its performance, specifically, convergence rate and mse (mean-square-error) in frequency estimation. In this paper, an ANF basing on digital oscillator model is proposed, which is capable of adapting not only the notch frequency as usual but also the notch-bandwidth of a NF (Notch Filter). This makes the proposed ANF be able to trapping a singletone with faster convergence rate as well as better estimation mse.
