  • Abstract
Taiwan has recently opened the business of telephony services from IP network call to PSTN (IP2PSTN). However, due to the use of existing E.164 remote authentication code cannot be effectively confirmed the true identity of the IP caller, giving rise to a serious telephony supervision loopholes, and making the callee of PSTN involved in a lot of phone fraud attacks. In this study, an access authorization verification mechanism (AAVM) was proposed to filter out unsolicited IP calls such that the attempts of connection can be blocked or a warning would be informed to the callee of PSTN. Also, the log file of abnormal dialing behaviors with classification will be formed a data warehousing architecture, such that we can reuse knowledge-based case knowledge modules via a rule-based reasoning behavior patterns diagnostic tree, to analyze the reasoning, and to dig the phone calls with conspiracy by cross comparison, blocking spammer´s repeated calling test; moreover, to create an exception list of dial-up and to establish the provision of cross-analysis information to satisfy the needs of telephony supervision.
