Abstract
Currently many colleges construct information-based teaching in Electronic Commerce website design lesson. This paper analyses the disadvantages of information-based teaching and the corresponding methods. At the same time this paper proposed a new teaching method named "teaching method with eight incremental steps". Finally it also summarizes the inevitable problems in information-based teaching. The information-based teaching inspires the studying interests of students, and improves the self-determination. Therefore, it enhances teaching quality and effectiveness of lesson.
