Abstract
This paper introduces a mathematical model for the analysis of the dispersion and losses in Bragg fibers, with hollow core, based on the transfer matrix. The losses analysis of the fundamental mode (TE01) with three different values of the core radius is also presented. The key strategy to compute the dispersions and losses of any mode of the Bragg fiber is developed in full detail.
