Abstract :
Nonuniform combined subdivision scheme(NCSS) is presented to enhance the interpolation function on curve networks. Nonuniform second difference operator and nonuniform correction operator are proposed separately based on second difference operator and the correction algorithm in order to generate more fairing interpolating surfaces. The improvement of operator Q is help to implement the interpolation of multiple curves intersecting at one point. The continuity of nonuniform combined subdivision surface is also analyzed. NCSS can extend the application scope of combined subdivision scheme in interpolating curve networks.
