  • Abstract
Based on the data of Arsenic in paddy soil and rice around Poyang Lake, the geostatistical data interpolation and correlation analysis were used to indicate the spatial distribution characteristics and correlation between Arsenic in rice and paddy soil, as well as analysis of causes were discussed. The results show, all the samples are in a low concentration of Arsenic which is less than background value of surface soil. In most of research area, that concentration is in 5.15 mg/kg ~6.52 mg/kg or 6.52 mg/kg ~7.89 mg/kg, and rare area is in an extremely low or high. The concentration of Arsenic in rice ranges from 0.012 mg/kg to 0.044 mg/kg, which is far lower than the standard published in GB4810-94 (0.7mg/kg). According the result of correlation analysis, there is an insignificant positive correlation whose correlation coefficient is 0.2470 between rice and paddy soil, which evidence that the concentration of Arsenic in rice and paddy soil is independent.geostatistical data interpolationcorrelation analysissurface soil.
