Abstract :
Insertion loss and return loss expressions are derived for a plane multilayer radome consisting of anisotropic materials at normal, parallel and circular polarization of the incident electromagnetic wave. Numerical optimization of three layer radome based on thin honeycomb core is demonstrated for a wide range of elevation angle θ in the frequency range 5-15 GHz.
